(Bake As Directed For 13 X 9 Cake) (Homemade Cake Pop Recipes) (Any Flavor 16 oz.) Add 3/4 Can To Start, Mix More In If Needed. Wrapped In Plastic Wrap |
| Bake cake according to directions on box or make your cake homemade. Allow your cake to cool completely, crumble into large bowl and mix thoroughly with 3/4 can frosting or more if needed. Roll or use melon scooper to shape into quarter size balls and place on wax paper covered cookie sheet. (Makes Approx. 40-50 balls) Melt chocolate or candy coating in the microwave level 5 for 30 sec intervals, stirring in between. Dip the tip of your lollipop stick in a little of the melted candy coating and insert into the cake balls. (Insert 3/4 of the way into the cake ball.) Place them in the freezer to firm up. Once very firm or frozen, carefully insert the cake ball into the candy coating by holding the lollipop stick and rotating until covered. Once covered remove and softly tap and rotate until the excess chocolate falls off, being carefull as the cake ball will fall off too. Place in a styrofoam block to dry. Once dry, draw faces with an edible ink pen or use cake decorations.
